I bought this to display in my house but never got around to it. So it's been sitting folded in a dresser for years. It's time for it to be shown off. I don't know its origins--maybe from Africa or India...or somewhere else entirely? It shows a village scene with people fishing. Hand appliqued; I believe it's all cotton. Has a little surface dirt. I don't think you can wash this but could perhaps spot clean with a damp cloth. It's 19 inches wide by 54" long.
