Hand crafted and hand stitched, this large and beautifully patterned original raffia textile is in good condition with very minor fading, consistent with its age. Likely a Kuba design, the intricate pattern of woven of light and dark geometric forms are highlighted in red raffia stitched edges, surprisingly bright and saturated. Signed "K" in ink on face. There are some minor breaks in the weave, visible in the photos. Total size is 25" x 180".
